Design and develop native Android applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Ensure that the applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance

Participate in code and design reviews

Requirements:

BSc in Computer Science or a related field

Strong technical background with 3 – 5 years of experience in developing native Android Applications

Substantial knowledge in Android SDK using Java and Kotlin

Strong knowledge in mobile development life cycle

Solid understanding in different Software architectures including MVP and MVVM

Excellent understanding of OOP and the SOLID principles

Capable of working on new apps and modifying existing ones with different structures and complexities

Solid understanding and experience in integrating with RESTful APIs

Good experience in integrating with the native hardware components as well as different 3rd party SDKs and libraries, such as maps providers, firebase components…etc.

Knowledge in Flutter is a plus

Experience with version control tools like Git

Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Always keep to learn and improve oneself skills

Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile, collaborative environment

Strong communication skills

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Experience with Android layout designing according to Material Design

Good command of both written and spoken English
